Come be a part of one of Hale’s instrumental music ensembles. Whether you have been playing for years, took a break from playing but are ready to pick up the instrument again, or are interested in learning a band or orchestra instrument for the first time, there is an ensemble for you!
Symphonic Band and Concert Orchestra are for 9th-12th graders of all levels including students who are just getting back into playing or those who want to learn for the first time. No auditions are required for Symphonic Band or Concert Orchestra. Incoming instrumentalists should fill out THIS QUESTIONNAIRE.

Are you an instrumentalist coming to Hale in the fall? If so, please fill out THIS QUESTIONNAIRE.
Join the Nathan Hale Chamber Orchestra! This ensemble is made of select students who are dedicated to playing more challenging music and learning how to work together to play without a conductor. Students must be willing to work hard to learn their parts and work as a team with their fellow ensemble members.
Please make a video of yourself playing the excerpts in the audition packets. Current orchestra members should upload their to the “Chamber Auditions” assignments on schoology. For those not currently in orchestra, upload your videos “unlisted” onto YouTube and email the links to email@example.com. Submit the videos by Tuesday, May 26th at 10 AM. Each excerpt should be in its own video labeled with your name and the excerpt number.
